The President underlined the serious and permanent work achieved in the promotion and defense of Classical Civilisation, mostly in the field of Ancient Greek and Roman Theatre. There are 32 theatrical dresses on exhibition together with props and devices related to Greek Drama. Several workshops for the students of Secondary School are running in April at the so called Ludi Saguntini and in early July at Academia Saguntina.
The Director of the Museum, Gemma López, thanked the President of SEEC and made an acknowledgment to the Municipality of Saguntum for its permenent support and sponsoring. José Luis Navarro underlined the European dimension of the Museum. Students from Austria, Italy, Greece, Sweden, Russia, Lituania, Portugal, Croatia, Bulgaria have visited ad enjoyed the Museum for the last ten years. Former Presidents of EUROCLASSICA, prof. Francisco Oliveira, John Bulwer and the nowadays president Christian Laes have visited and enjoyed it too. The award ceremony was held at Universidad de Valencia, Philosophical School, on Thursday 24th june 2023.
