I would be very happy to invite you to join us in person or online for the conference “Ancient Greek in Education and the Leadership of the Future,” organised by the Executive MBA Programme of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, on the occasion of World Greek Language Day. The conference will take place on Friday, 6 February, from 10:00 to 14:00 (EET, UTC+2). The conference will be conducted in Greek and English, with simultaneous interpretation provided throughout. It is open to all, and university students as well as school pupils are very welcome to attend online. We would also be grateful if you wished to share the invitation within your departments, institutions, or schools.
You may find full information about the conference and its programme here:

To attend online, please register in advance via Zoom at the following link:

Please note that the first part of the conference (10:00–11:30) will be conducted in Greek and will include welcome addresses and keynote contributions from Greek academics and professionals. The international speakers’ sessions will take place from 12:00 to 14:00, in English, with simultaneous interpretation in Greek provided throughout. The full programme is attached for your convenience. It would give me great pleasure to see colleagues, students and educators from across the international academic community connected for this shared discussion, as part of a collective effort to explore how Ancient Greek can continue to inform education, leadership and professions that require depth of thought, ethical awareness and intellectual clarity.
Above all, it is an opportunity to demonstrate that Ancient Greek continues to engage a broad and diverse audience in the contemporary world. At a time when the future of Classical Studies is frequently discussed and often questioned, our active presence and participation are what ultimately make their vitality visible.
Kind regards,
Eugenia Manolidou
