This material presents the programme objectives and the syllabuses

for both core programme-specific subjects laid down for the Social

Sciences Programme for upper secondary school education in Sweden.

There are 17 national programmes for pupils to choose between,

the aim of all of which is to give the pupils a broadly based general

education and to equip them to meet the general entrance (matribulation)

requirements for study at university level.
